The Black house 7th grade students raised 2066.54! They started out wanting to raise 1000.00 to fund a Food Mobile (a Good Shepherd Food Bank program). They raised TWICE THAT MUCH so chose to fund and volunteer at May’s mobile food truck AND send the same amount to the Bath Area Food Bank to help fund the Christmas and Thanksgiving meals that have been provided to food insecure families for the past 5 years. I am SO PROUD of all their hard work…I also want to thank Samantha Burdick, Paige Gallagher, Tom Bennoch, and Jason Meserve. They were the educators that kept the students motivated and will be chaperoning when they come to volunteer on the last Tuesday in May.
