Is your organization, school, business, or group interested in holding a SPRING FOOD DRIVE? Bear LOVES the snow, but is looking forward to spring flowers (or rather mud season). We are looking to begin April 1st thru April 30th. We would ask that donations be delivered anytime after April 30th to the food bank at 807 Middle Street. As the director of the Bath Area food bank I would like to sincerely thank the selectmen/selectwomen of Woolwich for the warm and friendly reception they gave me tonight. I began with Thanking them over and over for their VERY generous donation last year. Not only did it help us feed SO MANY families in the Woolwich area...it also encouraged other communities to increase their yearly contributions. We thank all the voters in Woolwich for understanding how important feeding our friends and neighbors is. Knowing how tight funds are, we did not ask for 10k, instead we have requested 5k to go towards our food budget. ... See MoreSee Less
