I don’t think that is fair these are people that need food and they may have to go early do to transportation I helped with food bank years ago when my friend was a director and she never told anyone they had to go to the end of the line if they came in early

I don’t go to the food bank but it sure seems to have a lot of rules lately ….. you don’t want paper bags you only want Shaw’s plastic bags …. Why not double bag paper bags if it’s such an issue …. Make people go to the back of the line because they’re there earlier than you want them there but what if it’s the only time they can get there …… you just don’t allow food to leave the premises until it’s time …… you’re there to help people not to provide all these crazy rules ….. I’m sorry for the folks that have to go to the food bank at a specific time but if they tell you to go to the back of the line there are other food banks around that don’t have these crazy rules

I am disappointed in this post SEVERELY! My mother used to run the Brunswick program before stepping down due to illness. This is just appalling... People need help and like Jeanie Barabe said, they may be arriving early due to rides, hunger, or other reasons. Make an adjustment to meet the needs of your people instead of adding unnecessary undue stress on someone who might arrive early! These are people living in survival mode.

We are looking for donations of Lunchables. With summer coming we get a LOT of kids...we like to have these on hand for kids that are not fond of what we prepare for a meal. They do need to be refrigerated...so donations can be left Tuesday 9am-6pm and Thursday 9am-2pm. THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping us feed so many!! ... See MoreSee Less
